Three questions we hear often

Spring dates fill first, so a club that knows its calendar should ask at least six to eight weeks ahead. Training runs can often be arranged at shorter notice, particularly on weekday evenings. If a date is taken, we will offer the nearest alternatives and explain what each one changes about the day.

Yes. We welcome a short visit from a trial secretary or a judge before a first booking. Contact us to arrange a time when the field is not in use, and we will walk the lanes, the kennel run, and the trail bay with you so that you can see how the day is set up.

We watch the conditions closely in the days before a booking. If the ground is not fit to run, we will tell the club as soon as we can and offer a new date or a refund of the amount paid for the cancelled day. If a card has to be stopped after it has begun, we will discuss the fairest outcome with the club.
